Earlier this year, Georgia Congressman Buddy Carter, introduced a bold piece of legislation--throw out the current tax code, and replace it with a national consumption tax. It's called the Fair Tax, and it means you keep every penny in your paycheck. Now especially as Tax Day approaches, I'm sure a lot of us wish this would become law--sooner rather than later.
